As is typical for healthy biocontexts, the bees use spring & summer to split out into new swarm families, trek about and find a new home. These have so far been in boxes put out to atract owls, fireplace chimneys, wood storage cupboards below fireplaces, the birdhide etc. Owners are advised to close appertures of ares they do not want bees (such as roof cavities) as the removal of these bees often neccesitate the killing of the bees which we obviously do not want to do.Thank you for your co-operation
A recent study on the water quality at Highlands advised that some changes are required to make the water ideal for human consumption. Additional information will be provided at the AGM.
I am sure you will also be excited about our new Bird Hide erected at the entrance gate dam. Access can be discussed with the gate guard who holds the keys.
Did you know about our Bosbok?
For quite a while now we have been seeing this lone Bushbuck bull and on one occasion I saw a ewe as well. However, This time NElis managed to catch it on his phone so here is the evidence :-)
We have seen him enough times to know they are residents, we must now only wish them the best in their breeding efforts :-)
